Terms of Service

KoreShell grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the KoreShell desktop application on the number of devices permitted by your subscription tier: • Free trial — 1 device, 30 days • Monthly plan ($7/month) — up to 3 devices • Annual plan ($60/year) — up to 3 devices You may deactivate a device at any time from Settings → License or from your account dashboard at koreshell.io/devices.

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual cycle via Razorpay. Accepted payment methods include UPI, credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex), NetBanking, and digital wallets. Cancellation: you may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Monthly subscriptions are not refunded for the current period. Annual subscriptions are eligible for a full refund within 14 days of purchase if the software does not perform as described — email hello@koreshell.io. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice via the email address on your account.

The free trial provides 30 days of full access on 1 device. No payment method is required to start a trial. After 30 days, new SSH connections, SFTP access, monitoring, backups, and deployments are disabled until you subscribe. All existing data — servers, vault, scripts, keys, history — is retained intact and accessible again upon subscription.

You may not: • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application or its license validation system • Remove or obscure license, copyright, or trademark notices in the software • Sublicense, resell, rent, or lease the software to any third party • Use the software as a component of a competing SSH management service or cloud relay • Share license keys across more devices than permitted by your plan • Automate license key requests or activation attempts in a manner that abuses the license server

You retain full ownership of all data stored by the desktop application — SSH credentials, server configurations, scripts, backups, and vault contents. This data is stored locally on your machine and is never transmitted to KoreShell servers. KoreShell is intended for lawful server administration by the account holder or their authorized team. You agree not to use KoreShell to: • Access servers or systems without authorization • Conduct unauthorized penetration testing or network scanning • Store or transmit malware, exploits, or illegal content • Violate any applicable local, national, or international law

The software is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. KoreShell.io does not warrant that the software will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free from security vulnerabilities. Use of KoreShell for management of production infrastructure is at your own risk. Always maintain independent backups of critical data.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, KoreShell.io and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including data loss, system downtime, unauthorized server access, or lost profits — arising from your use of or inability to use the software. Our total cumulative liability for any claim arising out of these terms shall not exceed the total amount you paid for the software in the 12 months immediately preceding the claim.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of KoreShell shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. If you are accessing KoreShell from outside India, you are responsible for compliance with local laws.

We may suspend or terminate your license immediately if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your license to use the software is revoked. Your locally stored data remains on your machine and is not deleted by us. You may terminate your account at any time by cancelling your subscription and emailing hello@koreshell.io.

We may update these terms with 30 days' notice via the email on your account. Continued use of the software after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree to the updated terms, you may cancel your subscription before the effective date.
