Activating a License
- Purchase at koreshell.io/pricing → you'll receive a key by email
- In KoreShell: Settings → License → paste your key → ACTIVATE
- Or from the license screen on first launch
Your key is verified against the license server over TLS 1.3. The result is cached locally so the app works offline after the first activation.
Device Management
Each license allows activation on 3 devices. To move to a new machine:
- Go to Settings → License → Deactivate on the old machine
- Activate your key on the new machine
Or manage devices from your online dashboard — click Revoke next to any device.
What Happens When the Trial Expires
- SSH connections, SFTP, monitoring: disabled
- Your data (servers, vault, backup configs) is kept intact
- Activate a license at any time to resume
License Server & Privacy
License checks send only: your license key, a device fingerprint (SHA-256 hash of hardware IDs), and the app version. No command history, server data, or credentials are ever transmitted.
